How does Residen compare to legacy PM software?+
Residen is built for teams that feel like their current software was designed for the way property management worked in 2008. Our data model is unified, our accounting is built-in (not bolted on), and our UI is keyboard-first. We also don't charge per user.
Can we really migrate in two weeks?+
Yes, for portfolios under 2,000 units. Our migration team has written ingest pipelines for all major PM platforms. Larger portfolios or multi-entity migrations typically land in 3-5 weeks.
Do you support trust accounting?+
Yes. Residen supports full trust accounting with separation of owner funds, tenant deposits, and operating accounts. Three-way reconciliation is built in, and we generate state-specific trust reports.
What about commercial properties?+
Residen supports commercial triple-net, CAM reconciliation, and sales-tax handling. If you run mixed residential/commercial portfolios, we are purpose-built for you.
Is there an API?+
